​COVID-19 POLICY
in accordance with Public Health Regulations
Welcome back everyone.  We have missed you all!
** Please Read Carefully **

CCFK would like to provide you and our staff with the peace of mind that we are all practicing proper health and safety regulations. Therefore, CCFK clients must adhere to the following procedures:


If you or someone you’ve been in contact with in the last 2 weeks are sick or has traveled outside the province, please stay home. We will be happy to reschedule your appointment.

Upon entering the salon; hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, and disinfectant spray will be available to you.  Our receptionist will also be taking temperatures by using a contactless thermometer.  Please limit what you bring inside the salon.  No food or drink. Strollers must be left just outside our door.

We have placed plexi sheets in between regular chairs and car chairs. 
We will also be using fresh and/or disposable capes. Hair dryers will not be used at this time (thank goodness for warm weather 😉)

Regarding PPE:
All staff will be wearing masks as additional safety measures. We ask that masks also be worn by our adult and children clients. Regretfully, we will not be able to service children who refuse to wear a mask. If you or your child have a medical and other condition that make wearing a mask not possible, your appointment will have to be scheduled towards the end of the day as per the Public Health guidelines. Reusable fabric masks for kids and adults will be available for purchase at the salon. Please do not wear gloves while inside the salon as they are unsanitary.

To adhere to the social/physical distancing policy, there will only be 2 stylists on the floor.  Our waiting area will not be available to groups of clients. We ask that only 1 parent accompany their child(ren). There will be a chair available for that parent to wait. If your little one is not fussing during their haircut, we ask that parents please stay seated until service is complete. Unlike before, we will not be permitting clients to linger afterwards so to minimize the amount of people inside the salon.

Weather permitting, we will be placing chairs 6ft apart outside the salon should you be early for your appointment.  We will call you in when your stylist is ready.  Otherwise, please stay in your car and we will message or call you when your stylist is ready.  Don’t forget to let us know when you have arrived outside.

Our toys/books will not be available for use at this time but please feel free to bring your own to entertain your little one. We ask, however, that you please sanitize those toys with the disinfectant wipes or spray provided in store.   

Normally we have a tray of goodies for the kids during or after their haircut.  Unfortunately, those goodies will not be displayed. If you would like, the receptionist can safely hand you a lollipop.

Our appointment intervals are usually every 15 minutes.  To ensure proper cleaning and sanitation after every client, appointments will now be every 30-45 minutes.

If possible please use credit or debit card as forms of payment. For sanitary reasons, we prefer not to handle cash.

If you are unable to make your appointment, please try to notify us 10-24hrs prior to that appointment. We fully understand if you cannot make it, so we are waiving any cancellation fees. However, please allow us the chance to schedule another appointment in your slot.  To ensure enough time for cleaning and sanitizing after your service and before our next, your appointment will be rescheduled if you are 10 or more minutes late.

Tentatively, CCFK will be open from 10am-7pm Monday through Friday and 9am-6pm on Saturdays. 
At this time, we will not be accepting any walk ins. We are operating strictly by appointment only.
